		<description><![CDATA[compare the 18-70 to the 18-105 at 70mm and the difference is very visible, in favor of the 18-70. The new Nikon consumer zooms (including the 18-55 , 18-105 , 18-200) are good in the center but not good at all right outside the center. Like the tamrons 
take the tamron 17-50 or the tamron 70-300 VC : booth stellar in the center but the corners are a disaster. Nikon seems (to me) to understand how the market goes and the fact that the vast majority of the new digital buyers only look at the center when they have to decide what to buy.
This 18-70 is sharp also at the corners , from 18 up to 70mm]]></description>
